Well hi there, I hope everyone is doing well

I’ve been a bit crazed over the past few weeks, but I wanted to share some performances with you as I come up for air.

Keep your eyes peeled for me as I did a couple of things that are going to be showing up on your local stations. First off, I got to play with my good friend Fernando Varela on his ‘Coming Home’ PBS special airing this month. I met Fernando years ago while working with David Foster and he is such an amazing person and singer, I hope you all get a chance to tune into his beautifully produced special.

Secondly, some of you caught me on the Grammy’s but that was a little taste of the Bee Gees Tribute I participated in airing Easter Weekend. I got to play with Rickey Minor and his incredible band and we got to back up some LEGENDARY figures. Super excited for that one.

Also, I had a few pinch me moments. One of which was last night getting to trade licks with one of my heroes, Mr Danny ‘Kootch’ Kortchmar. Danny was a part of the Section that played on everyone’s albums in the 1970’s including James Taylor, Carol King, Jackson Brown. He also co-wrote and produced some of Don Henley’s biggest hits. Getting to play New York Minute with this icon was a dream come true.

There’s more on the horizon, but I just wanted to give you all a quick head’s up and howdy.
